• •A Pal that spawns as a rare encounter in various regions.
• •It disguises itself as a treasure chest but runs away if attacked or hit with a Sphere. Set up a hanging trap or pave the area with foundations to make a Mimog-only arena so it cannot escape.
• •Defeating or capturing it drops Dog Coins; higher-level Mimogs drop more. Butchering does not give Dog Coins—if you only want coins, defeat rather than capture. You can also place a Campfire under Mimog, burn it, and repeat when the burn ends to chip HP without titrating. If you want drop items, attack or throw Spheres only when Mimog is near death.
• •Mimog mostly just runs, but Lucky (Rare) individuals turn hostile when attacked—stay alert.
• •While in your party, Mimog lets you open chests without keys. Useful when you lack keys, though reusable lockpicks exist as craft items, so it is not essential.
• •Extremely fast movement speed makes it an excellent Transporting Pal at base. Transporting work suitability is low, so Applied Transporting I is required. For transport speed, Eye of Cthulhu may be better; Anubis is also recommended—it handles jobs besides Transporting and has decent movement speed. Mimog is definitely a showpiece Pal when showing your base to others on a server.
