Palworld 1.0 Breeding Utility Rankings
Find the most useful breeding Pals in Palworld 1.0. Rank parents by direct offspring coverage, two-step reach and breeding-path value, then open every combination or use your owned Pals to plan a route.
Breeding utility measures network coverage and route value. It does not rank combat strength, passive inheritance or the rarity of the resulting offspring.

Breeding utility measures how broadly and efficiently a Pal connects to the Palworld 1.0 breeding network. Direct coverage counts the number of unique children available in one generation. Two-step reach measures how many Pals become reachable within two breeding generations. Bridge value estimates how often a Pal serves as a useful intermediate parent in short breeding routes.
Every eligible Pal currently has the same partner coverage in the supported breeding roster, so partner count does not affect this ranking.
This ranking does not measure passive inheritance probability, combat power, IV quality or the difficulty of obtaining each Pal.
A useful breeding Pal does more than produce one valuable child. Strong breeding parents cover many unique offspring, connect to useful intermediate Pals, and shorten the routes needed to reach multiple targets.
Produces many unique children in one generation.
Unlocks a broad set of targets within two generations.
Frequently connects distant parts of the breeding network.
Owned roster planning
A globally useful parent may not be the most useful Pal in your current roster. Select the Pals you already own to discover direct offspring, two-step targets and missing key parents.
The highest overall utility score is useful for broad roster planning, but it may not be the best parent for one specific target. Use the Breeding Calculator for direct combinations, Breeding Path for a specific target, or Breeding Planner for your owned roster.
FAQ
Katress leads the overall breeding utility ranking in the current Palworld 1.0 dataset. The best parent for a specific target can differ, so use Breeding Path when you know the exact Pal you want.
The score combines direct offspring coverage, two-step reach and bridge value. Metrics with no useful variation, such as uniform partner count, do not affect the ranking.
Direct coverage is the number of unique child Pals this parent can produce across valid one-generation combinations.
A bridge Pal is useful as an intermediate parent because it helps connect shorter breeding routes across the breeding network.
No. This page ranks breeding network utility only. Passive inheritance, IV quality and final combat builds are separate decisions.
