What is a breeding generation?

Generation 0 contains Pals you already own. Generation 1 contains children produced directly from those Pals. Later generations can use owned Pals or children produced in earlier steps.

How many owned Pals do I need?

You need at least two owned Pals because every breeding result requires two parents.

Can several breeding pairs run in parallel?

Yes. Pairs in the same generation do not depend on each other and can be bred at the same time, assuming you have enough compatible copies.

Does the route account for parent gender?

This calculator uses species-level planning and assumes compatible genders are available. Gender-sensitive combinations are labeled in the route steps.

Can one Pal be reused in multiple steps?

Owned Pals and intermediate children can appear in later generations. Parallel planning assumes enough copies exist if the same species is used in multiple simultaneous pairings.

Why can’t the calculator find a path?

Your roster may be missing a key parent, or the selected maximum generations may be too low. Try increasing depth, adding the suggested missing Pal, or opening the Breeding Planner.

What is the difference between Breeding Path and Breeding Planner?
