• •A Pal recommended for beginners on their first Palworld playthrough. It lives on Obsidian Volcano and can be found from mid-game onward, yet its stats are endgame-level. HP, Attack, and Defense are all high, and as a Fire/Ground-type Pal it has the advantage against Grass, Ice, and Electric types. Many Fire Active Skills also inflict Burn, letting you chip enemy HP with fixed damage. The saddle unlocks at Lv. 36, so you can ride it fairly early—you can attack while mounted or dismount and fight with Moldron itself, giving two attack patterns. Easy for beginners to use.
• •Moldron's Attack in your party increases based on the number of Fire or Ground Pals other than itself. Already strong on stats, it gets even stronger. Building a Fire/Ground party around Moldron as your main attacker works well. · Its learned Active Skills are very strong, and it has two exclusive skills: Magma Spit and Magma Laser. Both are powerful; Magma Laser especially leaves magma on the ground for a while after firing.
• •At base it excels at Kindling and Mining. Mid-game Kindling 5 and Mining 5 is quite strong—comparable to Reptyro. Around Lv. 40–50 you can get Blazamut on the northeastern volcanic island; Blazamut has Kindling 6 and Mining 7 and stays useful into late game. If you are still learning, capture Moldron first, then try Blazamut once you can produce Ultra and Legend Spheres. Moldron is also sold by the black-market merchant on the volcano, so combat-shy players can buy one there.
