- Appears as a boss in the No. 3 Restricted Hunting Zone or Mount Obsidian.
- Stats are very high, and Active Skills learned are strong.
- Deploy from your party and activate the Partner Skill to increase Knocklem's Attack and Defense for 40 seconds. Cooldown is 50 seconds. Preparing 2–3 Knocklem and swapping after each Partner Skill activation is a very strong tactic. As a base defense Pal for raids, its large body takes many hits. It suits a party attacker role. Because Partner Skill boosts Attack so much, passive builds should favor Ground element passives like Emperor of the Ground rather than pure Attack focus, or cooldown-reduction passives like Calm and Composed and Impatient. You could also skip Emperor of the Ground and use passives tailored to other elements, such as Savior or Holy Sky.
- Knocklem has extremely high one-on-one performance when you send out one party Pal to fight. In the author's local 1v1 battle simulator, Knocklem Ignis ranked first and Knocklem second.
- At base, it excels as a Pal with Mining 7 and Transporting 7. Having both Mining and Transporting is very strong. Mass-producing Knocklem through breeding is also worthwhile. If you want Kindling, try adding Blazamut with Kindling 6 and Mining 7 to your base.
