- Necromus is a Dark-type legendary Pal. It appears together with Paladius, making capture difficult, but you can defeat one and capture the other next time.
- Stats are very high, especially Attack base stats at 145—top tier among all Pals. Bellanoir and Bellanoir Libero also have Attack base stats of 150 and Partner Skills that enable Nightmare Ray at power 1500, so Necromus is not alone at the top.
- Signature skill Twin Spears charges while attacking with two spears. As a rush skill, against small enemies one hit may pierce through, dropping effective power to about 350. Two hits reach full power, but it is definitely effective against large Pals.
- Rideable with very high movement speed. Not faster than field-buff Pals like Palumba, but in pure single-Pal ground speed it is the fastest. Paladius is slightly slower but has more air jumps and stamina. Both are excellent land mounts along with Hartalis—pick by preference.
- While riding, activating Twin Spears summons one Paladius from your party to attack together. Only works with Twin Spears while riding, so versatility is limited, but it is Palworld's only fusion attack and has a lot of flair. Paladius's Spear Thrust summons Necromus in reverse.
